Simple Ways to Save More Money
Friday, May 6th, 2011Let us start with the famous proverb “A penny saved is penny earned”. Off course in this expensive world you can’t actually do with a penny but after a year that penny is quite a big sum. Some might not agree but at least sum is sufficient to make you done with an important act say buy a smart phone. Here I will suggest some simple but sure, practical way to save money.
* Let us start with a haircut. If you are having a hair cut after a month i.e. 4 week try extending it to 6 week. I don’t think it will make much difference. But at the end of year you will end up saving about 50$, if you are paying $5-$10 per haircut.
* The cents and change money left with you at the end of the day should be disposed to the piggy bank of your house. Or you can try being little innovative here, give the cents to your child and tell him to put it into the piggy bank. It will introduce saving habit in your child and saving is done parallel to it.
* Try to cut calling cost, if possible. Replace unnecessary calls by message, some time words speak more than speech. Try it.
* Quit smoking I don’t think it need any further explanation, by this you can save approx 150$ a year. Not wrong Na.
* Make a proper plan of shopping; you can try purchasing during year end or season end sale. This will save your lot many bucks.
* Try some self work yourself, for instance washing, ironing your clothes. The same goes with your vehicles too.
* Be determined in your saving
* If you like reading magazines and book, tie knot with your friend and each subscribe to different magazine. In this way you will be able to save more money and you will get more books to study.
Lastly I again want to end my article with the quote of Benjamin Franklin to make my every above said point clear.
“Beware of little expenses; a small leak will sink a great ship.”
